Entering Paid Breaks
If you are required to take paid breaks, you will see the blue-colored break button beneath the Clock Out button in the upper-left corner of your account:
The duration of the break is preset. Simply click the button when your break starts and your shift will continue automatically after your break time has elapsed. You will not need to clock back in from break.
Entering Unpaid Breaks
Unpaid breaks, such as lunch breaks, are entered by simply clocking out when you leave and clocking back in when you return to work. Sometimes, employers prefer that you don’t clock in and out for lunch at all. If your employer has set up an automatic lunch deduction, you will not need to clock out. Your employer will let you know if automatic lunch deductions are set up for your account, though we suggest double-checking with your employer if you’re unsure.
